The organizer of one of the world’s leading digital nomad festivals, heading to its third event in as many years, speaks about the point of the nomad fest and the success of Bansko, a small mountain town in Bulgaria that has in the past few years emerged as one of the leading destinations for remote workers or digital nomads.

Matthias Zeitler, who will be organizing the third edition of the nomad fest next June, says in the video interview that nomads as a group tend to gravitate to “the same 10, 12, 15 locations around the world.”

He also talks about what attracts nomads to these favoured destinations, and says that the location-independence way of life is a “fast growing trend at the moment” that is set to “become mainstream.”
