Donators Information

The information - name and mode of donation/record of donation - of anyone who donates or contributes money to Victor Borg is held for legal reasons. Names or details of donators are never publicly divulged and kept private without express/written consent of the donator, but records are kept for purposes of ethics, and to have evidence of source of income that is required for legal compliance.  

 However, any requests by regulatory authorities or law enforcement bodies for information on identity of donators that is unnecessary, unnecessarily-intrusive or abusive will be challenged in court.   


A third-party plugin uses cookies to tally the unique numbers of visitors to a site, as well as the number from specific geographic locations. A visitor is counted when a user or browser accesses the website for the first time in a given period. No information on the identity of any visitor is had via this service, this is just generic information on traffic dynamic of this website that is useful to analytically gauge the impact and viewership of this website.  

Who we share your data with

Any personal data will only be shared in cases of legitimate investigations into crime, or money laundering, by regulatory or law enforcement bodies. Any requests that are not legitimate, or not based on reasonable suspicion or prior evidence will be denied or challenged in court. 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Victor Borg has put in place robust measures to defend this website, and any data, from attacks and hacks. However and irrespective, information on donators and subscribers is held off-site so it is out of reach of hacks or intrusions on this website.

Personal data of donators and subscribers is not held on-site. The personal data of commentators provided when registering to make comment is public in any case.
